Good-bye, Alex Toth. We've lost another great artist and probably one of the last links to the Caniff school of comic illustration.
I'm still a bit curious why he was listed as having worked on Jonny Quest, though - Doug Wildey was the artist brought in to Hanna-Barbera for that series, but Toth was pretty much every action series that followed until the mid-eighties. EDIT: Ah, he did some of the model sheets! Cool!
Even if you've only seen Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, you can tell he was a good artist with a strong sense of design. I don't think that action-animation would be the same if he wasn't involved with H-B's works, and for this alone, he should be honored.
